Polygraph used during Judge Brett Kavanaugh Enquiry

Christine Blasey Ford was the subject of a polygraph test during the enquiry into her allegation that Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when she was 15 years old and he was 17.

Whilst polygraph test reports remain inadmissible in UK and US Courts, Ms Ford’s credibility and that of her version of events, was hugely increased by the results of her polygraph test.

Further polygraph tests are clearly going to be a cornerstone of the pending FBI investigation into Judge Kavanaugh with key witness Mark Judge and potential Kavanaugh hmself, set to take tests conducted by the FBI.

Mulberry Investigations Analysis – the use in such a high profile case highlights what a valuable tool polygraph tests remain for establishing credibility and the truth. When the FBI and Senate Judiciary Committee give such weight to the outcome of private tests it clearly demonstrates that polygraphs provide a level of insight in excess of any standard necessary for infidelity or commercial credibility issues.
